The applications below are commonly used at school. Some are required, others are recommended. Some are free to download, others need to be purchased. Application purchases should always be discussed and approved by a student's parents.
If you are unsure whether an application has been recommended or required by a teacher, please contact the SOIS Technology Department for confirmation.

ManageBac is the official iPad (and iPhone) app to access the school's ManageBac database. With the app, students can:
  • View IB deadlines and assignments.
  • Add CAS activities and post reflections.
  • Check on grades.

Brainpop  is the iPad app for the Brainpop website that offers videos, information and quizzes on topics ranging from maths to social sciences to English. It is often used in OIS elementary and middle school.
